Turning
The CNC turning is a machining process with computerised numerical control machines, in which the raw piece rotates on its own axis at high speed and a fixed tool removes the excess material, producing chips, until the piece takes the required shape.
The turning is performed mainly when there is the necessity of creating pieces with grooves, holes and threads. The two main steps are roughing and finishing.
Milling
The CNC milling is a machining process with computerised numerical control machines which differs from turning, because the tool rotates around the raw piece. The removal of the chips is performed with the cutter moving on the piece, or is the piece itself that moves on the fixed rotating tool.
